Here is a special message from a special friend to all our SJCS members.
From Fatima - Vancouver where the sun shines all the time ......
I am sending a very recent picture taken on my birthday 16th Sept 2009 and it was big, I am now 70 years old, and the longest living Jessa's daughters. We were 7 sisters, now there is only 2 of us my twin Lilly and myself, its really been a sad road, but we got to keep moving, its too painful look back but you never do forget
Mishka and myself went to the park at 9am and me in a sari, there was also a notice up to say "Mishka's mom is 70 today" there were quite a few friends with their camera's, with flowers, potted plants and it was wonderful, it really was a lot of fun, and I must admit I like my seventy, and the way I look.
The other picture is a friend John, he is 85 this year and he looks great, we normaly walk every morning with our woffee friends, (the other picture is Abby and Mishka), and we end up sitting to share a cup of Java every morning. Later that afternoon had a game of golf with friends and dinner, it really and truely was a great day.
The weather in Vancouver has been great, the best summer, we still have great sunny and warm days and I believe its still on for another 2 weeks, absolutely unbelieveable.
